WE ARE an innovative, progressive and experienced travel company, who have planned cruises and all-inclusive packages for the hair industry for the past 12 years. We started in 1999, then as Travel West, and the owner of our company, Jim West approached Marshalls Salon Services to ask if they would like to enhance their continuing education program by putting stylists, salon owners and professional educators on a cruise ship. With both companies agreeing that this might be something fun to do, they sailed on a five-day cruise to Mexico with over 200 people. After a very sucessful first cruise, we opted to do another cruise two years later. This time, over 300 people joined in the fun. In 2003, we went to Cancun, Mexico, and stylists from all over the Midwest joined us for fun, sun, shopping and continuing education on the most sucessful trip yet. With two cruises and one land package in Mexico under our belts, we knew we had started something very exciting, so in 2004 we opted to put all our attentions into a brand new company that would provide continuing education trips around the world for the entire cosmetology industry. We are very happy and proud to say that we were able to work with professional Redken and Rusk educators, as well as other professional educators from around the country. We were approached by MidCity to provide a continuing education cruise for them in 2006 and by other beauty supply companies on the West Coast and in the South With over 32 years combined experience, our staff understands what it takes to provide a first-class trip, and at the same time offer continuing education credit hours for salons and stylists across the country.
